2. Preparing and reviewing journal entries as part of the accounting cycle.
3. Creating and analyzing financial statements, providing insights on financial health and performance.
4. Implementing revenue recognition practices in line with accounting standards and company policies.
5. Utilizing One Stream, NetSuite, and Workiva for financial planning, reporting, and data management.
6. Helping to integrate new acquisitions.
7. Collaborating with other team members on financial audits, compliance checks, and other accounting projects.
8. Staying abreast of industry trends and regulations in the alternative energy sector.
9. Serving as a key contributor to the company's financial strategy and long-term financial planning. Qualifications The ideal candidate for the Senior Accountant position should possess the following qualifications: 1. CPA certification is preferred
2. Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role, preferably within the energy or alternative energy industry.
3. Prior experience with Big 4 accounting firms is highly desirable.
4. Proficiency in One Stream, NetSuite, and Workiva software or similar ERP/Systems
5. Strong understanding of revenue recognition principles and practices.
6. Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
7. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
8. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
9. High level of integrity, accuracy, dependability, enthusiasm, and confidentiality.
10. Proactive, self-motivated, able to work independently and as part of a team.
