Job Responsibilities

• The Staff Accountant will:
  
  
  
  • Post daily cash receipts (ACHs, wires, checks) accurately and on time.
  
  
  • Prepare journal entries including reclasses, prepaid, and accrual to support timely close.
  
  
  • Reconcile and analyze assigned balance sheet accounts with full supporting documentation.
  
  
  • Resolve discrepancies by taking initiative to identify and correct balancing issues.
  
  
  • Provide backup support for accounts payable, vendor payments, mail sorting and other related processing to ensure continuity.
  
  
  • Deliver superior customer service to both internal and external partners.
  
  
  • Perform other accounting, financial, or administrative tasks as may be required from time to time, by the VP of Finance or the President of THSP.
  
  

Required Criteria

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related business field.


• 3+ years experience in a similar accounting role.


• Proven knowledge of accounting principles, practices, internal controls.


• Knowledge of MS Office / Excel, complex accounting; ability to manipulate, analyze data.


• Highly motivated self-starter that embraces the challenge of finding unique solutions to challenging problems.


• Proven oral and written communication skills, organizational and presentation skills to interact with internal and external business partners.


• High quality standards and meticulous attention to detail.


• Experience working at a highly acquisitive company, is a plus.


• Work from office five days a week.

Competitive compensation consisting of base salary and an annual performance bonus.
