HR Coordinator
Job Title : HR Coordinator
Location: Houston, TX
Hours: 8:00-5:00-100% in the office
Benefits: This position is eligible for medical, dental, vision, and 401(k).
Pay : $21 - $22 / Hour
Our client is seeking a detail-oriented and organized HR Coordinator to support the Human Resources department with daily administrative functions and employee onboarding processes. The ideal candidate will have at least one year of HR experience, strong communication skills, and the ability to handle confidential information professionally. Experience with HRIS systems such as Dayforce, ADP, or Paycor is preferred.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate and process new hire onboarding and employee paperwork.
- Conduct background checks and ensure timely completion of pre-employment requirements.
- Complete and maintain E-Verify documentation in compliance with company policies and federal regulations.
- Assist with onboarding orientation and new hire set up.
- Maintain accurate employee records and HR files.
- Support HR with employee status changes, terminations, and personnel updates.
- Enter and update employee information within the HRIS system.
- Respond to employee questions regarding HR policies, benefits, and payroll matters.
- Assist with recruiting coordination, interview scheduling, and candidate communication.
- Ensure confidentiality and accuracy of sensitive employee information.
- Support additional HR administrative duties and special projects as assigned.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 1 year of Human Resources experience required.
- Experience with HRIS systems such as Dayforce, ADP, or Paycor preferred.
- Knowledge of onboarding processes, background checks, and E-Verify procedures.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Professional demeanor and ability to maintain confidentiality.

- Experience supporting high-volume onboarding or recruiting environments
