IONM Regional Business Development Director - Central Region
PURPOSE OF THE POSITION
This position is responsible for driving new business growth across SpecialtyCare’s Neuro Services by leading regional sales strategies and collaborating with cross-functional teams. The core responsibility is to identify, pursue, and secure new physician/surgeon partnerships and work alongside other members of the Business Development and Operations team to ensure adoption and conversion of new sales.
This position reports directly to the National Vice President of Market Development. This is an individual contributor role. This role will require 60-75% travel.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
Identify prospects, explore needs, develop relationships, and recommend solutions with the goal of generating follow-up proposals and closing contracts.
·Achieve/Exceed the regional GROW and New Business IONM new sales target.
·Support the regional sales and operations teams to achieve corporate growth objectives.
·Be SpecialtyCare’s regional expert on positioning and selling neuro clinical services to physicians/surgeons.
·Physician/Surgeon engagement specifics
oEnsure active surgeon involvement throughout the sales process to build trust and alignment.
oSecure surgeon advocacy during contracting to accelerate deal closure.
oDrive surgeon and clinical staff conversion post-sale to ensure rapid adoption.
oPartner with operations on large-scale implementation and penetration strategies.
oBuild and manage a regional network within surgeon’s offices, physician assistants, and other sales representatives.
·Contribute to the development of regional marketing materials and collateral to support new sales and market penetration.
Plan and participate in meetings, trade shows, business recognition events and other activities to promote business retention and expansion.
Assist in managing opportunities in sales pipeline.
Participate in joint marketing activities.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
Education:
·Bachelor’s degree in business, healthcare or a related field.
Experience:
·7 years of progressive healthcare and/or sales experience.
·Prior experience in healthcare required.
·Equivalent combination of education and experience acceptable.
·Clinical background or experience is a plus.
Knowledge and Skills:
·Understand delivery of healthcare services and has demonstrated ability to operate in this environment
·Consultative skills with the ability to influence perceptions, decisions and actions of others.
·Ability to build and maintain customer focused relationships and proactive identification of customer needs and assessments.
·Ability to develop and build relationships internally, working closely with operations teams to grow the business organically and through new opportunities.
