Inventory Operations Specialist
:
The Inventory Operations Specialist is a dynamic and client-focused role requiring exceptional organizational abilities, an understanding of budgets and purchasing, and a passion for service. This role requires strong interpersonal skills and a commitment to excellence.
Qualifications/Background:
- Be aligned with the vision and mission of Care Net Pregnancy Center and be in full agreement with Care Net?s Principles, Purpose, and Faith Statement and the Mission and Values Statement.
- Minimum of High School Diploma (or equivalent), advanced education preferred.
- Spanish-speaking preferred.
- At least 2 years with notable retail, inventory, sales, or customer service experience.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Highly organized, self-motivated, dependable, responsible, and able to work independently and calmly in an often highly emotional environment.
- Confident communicator and problem solver.
- Computer and database management capabilities
Duties:
- Responsible as first point of contact for all deliveries and in-kind donations delivered to the Center.
- Gather purchase orders from client services, education, childcare, and nourishment for review with Community Director, and place all orders in a timely manner for program needs.
- Work with Controller to ensure all purchases orders match the credit card statements and all invoices/receipts are uploaded to Dext.
- Process all daily donations and either log them into inventory or set aside for delivery to community donation partner.
- Procure, manage, and stock the support site boutique by seeking ?deals?, shopping at community partners, negotiating in-kind donations, and identifying grants to ensure good stewardship of all Care Net resources.
- Host shopping appointments for clients on days as determined by Community Director and ensure software compliance for all billing.
- Invoice all session stamps for shopping appointments by the end of the next business day.
- Collaborate with Programs Manager and Community Director to plan, organize, and execute monthly client events, such as the Thanksgiving Food Drive and Christmas Toy Store, ensuring a positive and impactful experience for all participants.
- Responsible for restocking all inventory left over from Support Site events.
- Keep hallways clear of boxes and all broken down boxes must be taken to recycling immediately.
- Keep a Captain?s Log of all daily tasks broken down by 15-minute increments.
- All other duties as assigned.
