Au Pair

About the Family: We are a warm and welcoming family residing in the vibrant city of Austin, Texas, seeking a caring and responsible au pair to join our household. Our two energetic and loving boys, aged 3 and 4, are at a delightful stage of growth and discovery. We are looking for someone who can become an integral part of our family, providing attentive care and engaging activities to support their development. Responsibilities: Childcare: Provide full-time care for our 3 and 4-year-old boys. Engage the children in age-appropriate activities, games, and educational tasks. Plan and prepare meals and snacks for the children. Assist with potty training and maintaining good hygiene. Manage daily routines, including nap times, outdoor play, and bedtime. Educational and Developmental Support: Foster a positive learning environment through play, reading, and creative activities. Encourage the development of social skills, manners, and independence. Household Duties: Perform light housekeeping related to the children, such as cleaning up after meals, tidying play areas, and managing the children's laundry. Help with family meal preparation as needed. Transportation: Drive the children to and from activities, playdates, and appointments. (A valid driver's license and safe driving record are required.) Prior experience in childcare, preferably as an au pair, nanny, or daycare worker. Genuine love for working with young children. Patience, creativity, and a positive attitude. Strong communication skills and proficiency in English. Valid driver's license and a clean driving record. Ability to commit to a one-year contract. Non-smoker. Benefits: Competitive weekly stipend.
