This position reports to the Outside Sales Manager/ Vice-President. Job Description:
Applicants should be highly motivated, attain an ability to use computer systems, strong work ethic, speaking abilities, and an interest in the construction industry. Position includes vehicle allowance, gas allowance, mobile phone, great benefit plans medical/dental, and offers a tremendous opportunity for upward mobility. Responsibilities:
- Present and sell company products and services to new and existing customers.
- Prospect and contact potential customers both in residential and commercial field.
- Reach agreed upon sales targets by the deadline.
- Resolve customer inquiries and complaints.
- Set follow-up appointments to keep customers aware of latest developments.
- Perform building material take-offs.
- Travel regularly throughout the area to call on regular and prospective customers to solicit orders or talk with customers by phone.
- Coordinate with Inside Sales Coordinator for estimating, quotes, and to keep account activities up to date.
- Collaborate with Design Team to ensure design accuracy and delivery deadline is met.
- Develop and maintain customer relationships.
- Background in Business, Marketing, Sales or related field
- Extensive experience in lumber, floor and roof trusses in commercial and multifamily businesses.
- Strong presentation, negotiation, and closing skills
- Highly motivated and able to work independently to meet or exceed goals
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to build rapport with clients
- Deadline and detail-oriented
Hours are flexible, 7:00am - 4:00pm or 8:00am - 5:00pm, five days per week. Two mandatory inventories per year. Paid vacation after first year. Medical, dental, and eye care plans are available. 401(k) plan available. Base salary with commission opportunities. Raises based upon job performance. We promote from within.

Education/Experience:
- High school diploma or GED (Required).
- Degree in a 4-year accredited university (Preferred).
- Previous sales experience in lumber and/or trusses.
The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an associate to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. The employee must lift and move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
