Private Duty Nursing - RN/LVN (In Home Nursing)
PDN ( Private Duty Nursing ) for a patient with a G-tube involves a skilled nurse providing individualized, one-on-one care, typically in the patient's home, to manage the gastrostomy tube (G-tube).
Responsibilities include:- Administering tube feedings.
- Managing and cleaning the G-tube and site.
- Monitoring for complications like infection.
- Educating the patient and family on G-tube care and maintenance.
- Administer medications as directed by MD and follow care on POC.
