Position: Therapist-COTA-Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant (Travel/Contract)

Responsibilities

• Provide therapeutic services to patients under the supervision of an occupational therapist.

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for patients.

• Achieve performance targets and contribute to team success.

• Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary.

• Participate in ongoing professional development and training opportunities.

• Educate patients and families on treatment goals and techniques.

• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to enhance patient care.

• Utilize evidence-based practices to enhance treatment effectiveness.

• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care activities.

• Engage in self-reflection to identify areas for personal growth.

• Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance service delivery.

• Assist in the training and mentoring of new staff members.

Experience/Qualifications

• Must hold a valid COTA certification and state licensure.

• Strong commitment to ongoing professional development and training.

• Must demonstrate a growth mindset and desire for personal improvement.

• Experience in developing and implementing patient-specific treatment plans.

• Excellent communication skills for educating patients and families.

• Proven ability to monitor and adjust treatment plans effectively.

• Ability to collaborate with a multidisciplinary team for optimal care.

• Ability to maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care.

• Experience in utilizing evidence-based practices in therapy.

• Willingness to participate in quality improvement initiatives.
