Medication Coordination Tech I
- Requires graduation from a standard senior high school or equivalent.
- Two years work experience related to prior authorization and/or patient assistance process and must have knowledge of prescription terminology and psychiatric medication Preferred .
- Knowledge of medical and pharmaceutical terms
- Maintains files and records for an organizational unit.
- Knowledge of office practices and administrative procedures.
- Skill in the use of electronic data and/or word processing equipment and software.
- Answering phone calls, routing incoming calls, taking messages, greeting visitors and directing them to appropriate staff.
- Back-up duties for provider scheduling.
- Must have excellent verbal/written communication skills.
- Performs related work as assigned.
- Must have and maintain a level of general health which permits the performance of duties.
- Individual must have the capacity to carry supplies and lift up to 30 pounds and sit for prolonged periods.
