Senior Consultant - AI Engineer

In this role, you won’t just write code — you’ll architect solutions that blend traditional engineering best practices with modern AI advancements. We're looking for curious, collaborative leaders ready to push boundaries and bring innovative ideas to life.

What You Could Be Doing

While every project we work on is different, below is a high-level overview of some of the responsibilities/hats you may wear:

• Design and implement AI-enabled software solutions that drive automation, efficiency, and business intelligence.


• Partner with cross-functional stakeholders to translate business needs into scalable technical architectures, often involving large datasets and real-time decision-making systems.


• Leverage AI-powered tools (e.g., Copilot, Cursor, Claude Code, Amazon Q) to improve code quality, reduce cycle time, and accelerate delivery.


• Integrate intelligent agents, agentic architectures, or machine learning pipelines into products and platforms.


• Mentor other engineers on best practices in modern software engineering, especially around the responsible adoption of AI tools and practices.


• Communicate complex technical ideas in a way that resonates with both technical and non-technical audiences.


• Rapidly prototype your ideas to find the best solutions.

What You Bring to the Table

When you join our team, you’re a consultant first. This means there are core skills we expect out of each of our team members. These include:

• A four-year degree and ideally 5+ years of relevant experience in Consulting, Software Engineering, or adjacent fields.


• Experience working in Agile environments and cross-functional teams.


• Strong ability to understand client pain points, define root problems, and translate them into actionable technical plans.


• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present to senior stakeholders.


• Comfort working in ambiguity and helping clients navigate uncharted territory, especially when it involves emerging tech.

Bonus Points for Experience With:

• Hands-on experience using AI Coding Assistants (e.g., Copilot, Cursor, Claude Code, Amazon Q)


• Leveraging AI Prototyping Tools (e.g., v0.dev, Lovable, Replit, Bolt)


• Proficiency with modern front-end frameworks (e.g. React, NextJs)


• Backend development in Python, Java, .Net, Node.js


• Familiarity with APIs and cloud-based architectures (AWS, Azure)


• Distributed systems and messaging (Kafka, etc.)


• DevOps tooling including CI/CD pipelines and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)


• Test automation frameworks like (Selenium, Cypress, or Playwright, etc)

The salary range for this position considers multiple factors influencing compensation decisions, such as skillset, previous experience, certifications, and various business & organizational requirements. Being hired at or near the top of the range for this role is uncommon, as compensation determinations rely on individual circumstances. Currently, the base salary range is estimated to be between $120,000 and $150,000.
