CT Technologist Job Details

• Shift: Night shifts, Friday – Sunday, 3x12-hour shifts (16:00 – 04:00)

• Estimated Weekly Salary: $2200 - $2260
• Patient Demographics: Neonates, Infants, Pediatrics, Adolescents, Adults, Geriatrics
• EMR System: Epic

CT Technologist Qualifications

• At least 1 year of recent CT Technologist experience in a hospital or clinical setting
• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program
• Current ARRT (R) and ARRT (CT) certifications required
• Active Texas Medical Board MRT license (Texas radiology jobs requirement)
• Current BLS certification
• COVID-19 and Flu vaccinations required (medical/religious exemptions considered)
• Proficiency with Epic charting system
• Ability to complete required labs within 72 hours of offer acceptance
• Travel healthcare experience highly preferred
• Local candidates within 110 miles not eligible

CT Technologist Responsibilities

• Perform a variety of CT procedures: head, chest, abdomen, pelvis, musculoskeletal, vascular, and trauma studies (with and without contrast)
• Prepare and administer contrast media safely
• Operate advanced imaging equipment (Carestream, Canon CT scanner, Philips, Shimadzu)
• Deliver high-quality diagnostic imaging for all patient age groups
• Adhere to isolation precautions and hospital safety protocols
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams for optimal patient outcomes
• Accurately document procedures and patient data in the Epic EMR system
• Participate in orientation and ongoing professional training
