Astrion has an exciting opportunity for a cloud integration SME for the Engineering, Professional, and Administrative Support Services contract , supporting the USAF Command, Control, Communications, Intelligence, and Networks directorate.

JOB DETAILS

LOCATION: San Antonio, TX

JOB STATUS: Full-time

TRAVEL: Occasional

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS

• Advanced Degree (MA/MS) and 15 years of cloud experience, or a BA/BS degree and 20 years of cloud experience, or 25 years of cloud experience
• Top secret clearance
• Agile development experience

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS

• Experience with firewalls, ESXI, IDS/IPS, Sensors and Automation Toolsets
• Experience with Terraform and Ansible built on Amazon AWS and GCP
• Experience with Kubernetes and Docker

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Apply advanced knowledge of qualitative and quantitative techniques for gathering, analyzing, and measuring the effectiveness, efficiency, and productivity of USAF defensive cyber system (DCS) implementation in cloud environments.
• Assist the program manager in assessing the success and viability of DCS programs, and recommend viable solutions to problems, and pursue alternative courses of action.
• Plan, research, analyze, and assess DCS cloud implementation in terms of development, production, and deployment.
• Formulate plans and recommend effective strategies in meeting DCS cloud cost, schedule, and performance objectives.
• Consolidate and synthesize data inputs from multiple programs, data inputs from multiple functional disciplines, and independent research into coherent products to
• support senior leadership decision processes and products.
• Communicate effectively orally and in writing, providing quality acquisition and program documentation (briefings, documents, plans, etc.).
