Akkodis is seeking a Data Tech Center for a contract with a client in San Antonio, TX. The candidate will support installation, maintenance, and documentation of critical data center infrastructure to ensure high availability and operational efficiency.

Rate Range: $29/hour to 31/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Data Tech Center job responsibilities include:

• Install, maintain, and upgrade IT hardware and infrastructure components including servers, cables, and power systems.

• Perform routine and emergency maintenance on facility systems such as HVAC, UPS, and fire suppression equipment.

• Diagnose and resolve hardware failures, and coordinate with vendors for repairs and replacements.

• Document all infrastructure changes using DCIM tools and maintain accurate records of installations and decommissions.

• Ensure safety compliance by enforcing standards, labeling equipment, and setting up safety barriers when needed.

• Escort vendors and visitors during on-site work and ensure secure access to data center facilities.

Required Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent; technical certifications in IT or facilities systems are a plus.

• Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience in a data center environment.

• Strong knowledge of facilities systems including HVAC, UPS, and power distribution units.

• Ability to perform complex troubleshooting and root-cause analysis with minimal supervision.

Pay Details: $29.00 to $31.00 per hour
