Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and prosecute U.S. and international patent applications across electrical, computer science, and related technologies
• Craft portfolio strategies, office-action responses, appeals, and examiner interviews
• Collaborate on freedom-to-operate, patentability, and due-diligence projects
• Engage in client development; deepen relationships with existing and new technology clients
• Manage a substantial docket with autonomy and deliver high-quality work product

Qualifications

• 6+ years of hands-on patent preparation and prosecution experience in relevant technologies
• State Bar required in the office location (TX, TN, FL, NC, or AL)
• Demonstrated ability to operate independently and manage a busy docket
• Portable business of $500k+ strongly preferred
• Exceptional research, writing, and communication skills; patent attorney mindset with business acumen
