Bookkeeper (Full Charge)

Growing Technology Company Seeking a Full Charge Bookkeeper

InfoDefense, a trusted leader in CMMC and cybersecurity compliance, is seeking a seasoned Full Charge Bookkeeper to manage all aspects of our company’s financial record-keeping. This role requires a strong understanding of accounting principles, the ability to manage the entire bookkeeping cycle, and the experience to produce accurate financial reports independently. The ideal candidate is self-motivated, highly organized, and capable of overseeing both daily transactions and long-term financial planning tasks.

Job Description

This job is primarily remote, but candidates must reside in the Dallas/Fort-Worth area . A minimum of 7+ years of hands-on accounting experience is also required. The successful candidate will be tech-savvy and capable of managing the company’s financial operations with minimal guidance. This role is pivotal in supporting our growth by ensuring financial accuracy, managing payables and receivables, and producing clean, audit-ready financial reports. All employees are required to submit to a background check prior to commencing work.

Responsibilities

• Working with company management to optimize accounting workflows 


• Sending invoices to customers and managing accounts receivable


• Processing vendor bills and managing accounts payable


• Creating quotes for resale software


• Coordinating with our external accounting firm to close the books monthly


• Prepare financial reporting and analysis


• Entering customer’s information into our accounting software


• Managing payroll


• Submitting sales and use tax reports and remitting taxes collected

Qualifications

• Proven 7+ years of experience as a Full Charge Bookkeeper or similar role


• Expert level understanding of accounting software, including QuickBooks, Gusto, and Bill.com


• Exceptional attention to detail


• TSheets online experience


• Strong interpersonal skills


• Positive work attitude


• Ability to deal with constantly shifting priorities


• Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills


• Ability to maintain strict confidentiality
  


• Excellent oral and written communication skills
