Position Summary:
With our continued growth and success, we are excited to hire a full-time, Metro Traveling Licensed Practical Nurse to join our dynamic treatment team. Our company is medically-based, so as the Metro Traveling Licensed Practical Nurse, you will travel to our various locations up to a 60 mile radius of the assigned metro area to fill in, while their permanent provider is out of the office (vacation, FMLA, leave, etc.) and help our clients achieve the aesthetic results they’ve always wanted while providing them with excellent patient care.
Status: Full-time, Exempt
Travel Requirements: Ability to travel up to a 60 mile radius of the assigned metro area.
Based out of: Austin, TX; Candidates must live within close proximity to a Milan Laser clinic.

Responsibilities:
- Perform all laser hair removal treatments within Milan Laser established treatment protocols and procedures
- Educate patients on laser hair removal process and pre/post treatment care recommendations
- Work autonomously with clients to achieve their medical or aesthetic hair free goals
- Collaborate with the clinic team to achieve company goals
- Provide a friendly and comfortable environment by delivering world class patient care
- Record clear and accurate medical documentation in patients EMR on a tablet device
- Ensure a professional clean work environment; to include prepping the treatment room in between patients
- Clean and perform minor maintenance on the laser to ensure proper functionality
- Collaborate with Regional Clinical Specialist/Practitioner and Medical Management as needed, regarding patient treatment plans
Requirements:
- A reliable form of transportation for local travel between clinics
- Active, unencumbered LPN license
- Will work with Milan's Licensing Team to obtain licenses in multiple states, if necessary.
- Ability to fulfill and travel up to a 60-mile radius of the assigned metro area
- Possess a valid driver's license
- Reside in close proximity to a Milan Laser clinic
- Exhibit exceptional communication skills, both verbal & written
- Passionate about providing excellent patient care
- Ability to maintain highly confidential information
- Be able to stand for up to 9 hours a day
- Be able to lift up to 50 pounds
- Be able to visually assess the client’s skin and use visual abilities while operating the laser
- Be able to operate a laser and computer/office machinery (required use of hands, fingers, arms)
