Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM

Experience:

• 12 months of experience with 3 months worked in the last 12 months.

• 10 months of Medical Surgical / Telemetry Unit experience.

• Travel experience is required.

• Experience with Epic is required.

• Trauma Level 2 experience is preferred.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a Texas license or compact license (required after submission).

• This role will require floating to multiple locations

• Local & travel allowed. Candidates living <50 miles from facility will be processed as local.

• COVID vaccination required after submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.

• 6 months gap required between for Staff at Program: Aya Program - Providence Health & Services and no current placement allowed at Program: Aya Program - Providence Health & Services.

Additional Details:

All positions at Providence Health & Services require that any and all lab items requested during onboarding be completed within 72 hours of signing a contract - no exceptions. This means candidates must be responsive and willing to go to a lab to complete health orders as soon as possible after signing. Failure to comply may lead to a pushed start or cancellation as assessed by the facility.

References must cover at least 1 full year of relevant experience in specialty within the past 3 years.

You must be able to complete labs within 48 hours of signing.

Required Skills/Experience:- Community hospital experience is required.- Orthopedic trauma/post-op care management, blood administration, and wound vac management required.

Required Credentials:- Cannot have any hits/suspensions on license or any background hits from any point in the past.

Special Requests:- RTO must be listed at time of submission.

Unit Details:- Adult orthopedic trauma surgical unit with post-op care management; patient population includes motor vehicle accidents, fractures, amputations, industrial accidents, gunshot wounds, cellulitis, joint replacement surgery, and intermittent COVID patients.- Nursing staff perform blood administration, phlebotomy, lifting and transfers, and pressure injury prevention.

Shift & Scheduling:- No call.- Weekends required according to scheduling needs.

• AUTO OFFER - NO INTERVIEW : This is an auto-offer position. You will likely not interview with the facility prior to receiving an offer. However, an interview can be arranged upon request. All time off requests must be submitted at application. Scheduling requests must be worked out with the manager directly upon starting the assignment. Any offers for this job will require a clear “Yes” or “No” response from the nurse within 24hrs or the offer must be declined.
