What will you be doing in your role?
- Develop and implement strategies using the Benevon® model to effectively engage the community in our mission and reach financial goals.
- Maintain constant contact with our ambassadors, collaborating with them to invite others to learn about CCFW.
- Listen and learn to identify the specific interests and passions of community members, share that information with the team, and connect community members to relevant opportunities with excellent follow-up and follow through.
- Keep a full schedule of face-to-face meetings with community members including individuals, faith partners, businesses, and other relevant community stakeholders.
- Coordinate and lead KNOW Poverty Hours (KPHs) and conduct timely follow-up with guests.
- Provide engaging and informative presentations in the community.
- Educate yourself about CCFW, becoming familiar with the KPH script and other relevant agency information in order to present the CCFW mission effectively with the community.
- Present the mission of CCFW with integrity, honesty, and enthusiasm, when connecting with our community.
- Plan, organize, and execute community engagement events
- Personally invite individuals to our events and learning opportunities.
- Provide oversight to strategic events including managing guest lists, venue communication, and logistics.
- Enthusiastically participate in special event fundraisers and regular donor engagement activities, including travel to other locations.
- Identify and secure new donors and cultivate ongoing relationships with established donors to sustain and increase giving.
- Implement and execute annual giving strategies to meet fundraising goals through programs like Game Changers and the yearly sustainable giving society, retaining and growing a portfolio of donors.
- Constantly refine your cultivating and engagement strategies with methods that align with the Benevon® model including one-on-one financial donation asks.
- Document and report weekly and monthly metrics.
- Track accurate reporting data including dollars raised.
- Work diligently to meet both individual and team goals, working effectively with all members of the team to grow our donor and volunteer base.
- Recognize that engaging our community is a team effort and approach all contacts with professionalism and passion for the CCFW mission.
Are you the next Community Engagement Officer?
- Bachelor's degree OR a combination of relevant education and experience.
- 2 years of relevant working experience.
- Willingness to learn and follow proven Benevon® model
- Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and English communication skills.
- Project management experience a plus
- Reliable transportation, valid driver’s license, and liability required at all times; willing to transport others in personal car
