Key Responsibilities of the RN - Emergency Department
- Provide direct patient care in accordance with facility policies and procedures
- Implement and monitor emergency protocols including STEMI, Stroke, and Conscious Sedation
- Assist with various procedures such as intubations, laceration repairs, and ortho splinting
- Administer medications and antivenom infusion treatments as required
- Maintain detailed and accurate patient records
Requirements of the RN - Emergency Department
- Current BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS, TNCC certifications
- Minimum of 3+ years recent experience in Emergency Department
- Ability to multitask and independently manage multiple duties
