The Yard Technician maintains the cleanliness of the yard and keeps the rental equipment organized to minimize customer wait time. This position assists customers with equipment check-in, check-out, and basic operation knowledge.

Essential Functions

· Prepare equipment for rent by cleaning with a power washer

· Ensure proper PPE apparel is worn while in the yard

· Assist with loading and unloading equipment

· Provide customers basic training, as needed

· Stage equipment for deliveries

· Maintain proper yard organization

· Maintain cleanliness and safety of the yard

· Make small deliveries/pickups to client site and/or retailer using a pickup truck when requested

Required Education and Experience

· High School Diploma or GED

· Must have good organizational and communication skills

· Must be customer service orientated

· Valid State issued Driver's License

· Must be able to work with minimal supervision - Self-Motivated

Military service will be considered in lieu of education/certification experience as applicable.

· Environment is consistent with that of a construction, heavy equipment yard and repair shop

Physical demands

· Extensive periods to include lifting up to 50lbs, bending, squatting, crouching, and reaching

· Occasional lifting to 50 lbs.

· Must be able to stand for long periods of time with frequent bending and stopping
