Your contributions will be integral to our client's growth in core operations and the transition to new energy paradigms. Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain engineering software tailored for the upstream oil and gas industry.
• Deliver high-quality work efficiently with minimal supervision.
• Analyze requirements and architecture to design and implement software applications.
• Follow and contribute to the software development process, ensuring adherence to best practices.
• Create and support software engineering documentation and training materials.
• Comply with safety rules and company policies, ensuring all tasks are performed to the highest standards.
• Perform additional duties as assigned within the job's physical constraints.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Petroleum Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Computer Science with relevant oil and gas industry experience.
• 5+ years of experience in software development.
• Proficiency in C/C++, Fortran, or other object-oriented programming languages.
• Strong understanding of software engineering design principles and analysis algorithms.
• Excellent problem-solving and diagnostic skills.
• Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks.
• Effective interpersonal and teamwork skills.

Preferred:

• Master's degree in Engineering with 2-5+ years of experience.
• PhD or Master's in Petroleum Engineering or Mechanical Engineering.
• Experience in Artificial Lift and oil and gas software development.
