Radiological Technologist-The Woodlands
Summary
The Radiologic Technologist provides patient-centered care and utilizes technical skills to perform diagnostic radiographic imaging for diagnostic and evaluation purposes. This role is essential to ensuring high-quality radiographic services and patient safety.
Within the Concierge and Executive Health department, the Radiologic Technologist will support diagnostic imaging needs for a select patient population requiring a high level of personalized care. Responsibilities include coordinating and performing timely radiographic exams for same-day appointments, supporting seamless clinical workflows, and collaborating closely with physicians, nursing staff, and care coordinators to deliver an exceptional patient experience. The technologist will also assist in maintaining imaging equipment, managing documentation for regulatory compliance, and ensuring smooth coordination with external imaging services when needed. Professionalism and flexibility are key, as this role may also involve supporting VIP patient visits and executive health screenings.
This position plays a key role in diagnostic support services and requires individuals who are comfortable working directly with patients in a high-touch, concierge and executive health setting. The role involves regular interaction with high-profile individuals, including corporate clients, Baylor leadership, and board members. Strong communication skills, discretion, professionalism, and attention to detail are essential. This position is located at our The Woodlands, Texas clinic.
Job Duties
- Prepares patients for radiographic procedures by reviewing physician orders and explaining processes.
- Operates radiographic equipment and computer systems to produce and document diagnostic images.
- Performs daily, monthly, and quarterly quality control checks to ensure imaging standards.
- Ensures all radiographic procedures are completed in a timely and efficient manner.
- Submits radiographs for interpretation by a radiologist.
- Follows all safety protocols related to radiographic procedures and environmental safety.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited radiography program.
- No experience required.
- Certification and Registration as a Radiologic Technologist by the American Registry or Radiologic Technologists (ARRT), and Licensure as a Medical Radiological Technologist or Limited Medical Radiological Technologist by the Texas Medical Board (TMB).
