Field Engineer

Job Title: Field Engineer

Type: 12 month Contract
Compensation: $37.00- $40.00
Contractor Work Model: Hybrid – onsite and remote

Responsibilities

• Support two single-cycle combustion turbine projects in the territory. This is a field-based engineering role focused on supporting construction execution, EPC RFI coordination, open engineering items, and commissioning/start-up activities.
• Act as a field engineer supporting EPC RFI submittal and response processes.
• Support open engineering items during construction.
• Assist with commissioning and start-up activities.
• Provide technical oversight of EPC field activities.
• Coordinate with project managers, engineers, construction managers, and external vendors.

Requirements

• Experience supporting EPC construction projects.
• Familiarity with RFI submittal and document control processes.
• Experience with Siemens combustion turbines (preferred).
• Mechanical and electrical engineering exposure (mechanical preferred).
• Experience working onsite in construction or field environments.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering.
• Primary work locations include Muleshoe, TX and Seminole, TX / Hobbs, NM (approximately 110 miles apart). The project team is based in Amarillo, TX, where the resource may initially go before transitioning to site work.
