About the Role:
Keeley Construction is actively seeking dependable, driven individuals with general construction experience to join our fast-growing team. This is a hands-on role that supports a range of field operations—including concrete, carpentry, asphalt and paving. We value candidates with strong overall construction backgrounds who are eager to contribute, learn, and grow within a collaborative field crew environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform general job site maintenance and repair work (e.g., fence repair, debris removal, site prep).
Operate hand and power tools, including blowers, squeegees, crack filling equipment, power washers, and spray systems.
Set up and dismantle traffic control devices (cones, signage, barricades) to maintain job site safety.
Execute physical labor tasks such as raking, sweeping, shoveling, and material handling.
Assist equipment operators by spotting and aligning materials for safe and efficient operation.
Maintain clean, organized work areas and assist with basic equipment maintenance.
Communicate effectively with crew members, foremen, and other site personnel.
Adhere to all Keeley Construction and OSHA safety protocols at all times.
Record daily job activities and report project updates as needed.
Demonstrate punctuality, dependability, and readiness to work every day.
Take on additional responsibilities as assigned by leadership.
Required Qualifications:
Minimum of 1 year general construction experience (e.g., site work, fencing, carpentry, demolition, or related fields).
Sealcoat/asphalt experience is a plus but not required.
High school diploma or GED is preferred.
Must be 21 years or older with a valid driver's license and a clean driving record (no DUIs within the past 3 years); CDL is a plus.
Physically fit and able to work in demanding outdoor environments.
Strong attention to detail, adaptability, and a willingness to learn new skills.
Consistent attendance and a strong work ethic are essential.
Must pass a pre-employment assessment and drug screening .
