Inventory and Receiving Specialist

Duties & Responsibilities:
- Enter data for quantities of parts issued and transferred between locations, inventory and cycle count adjustments, into computer database.
- Close shop packets received and purge computer database.
- Receive and issue finished goods into computer database.
- Troubleshoot quantity discrepancies with manufacturing and inspection personnel.
- Record and monitor all items with shelf-life daily and notify appropriate personnel when material has expired.
- Prepare monthly reports for cycle count and pick-lists count for monthly highlights.
- Prepare and participate in yearly physical inventory.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED required
- Experience in computerized accounting system required
- Thorough working knowledge of MS Office, particularly of Word, Excel, and Outlook required.

Physical Demands:
- Must be able to remain seated 60% of the time
- Work is normally performed in a typical interior/office work environment and warehouse
- Must be able to communicate with management and coworkers and be able to exchange accurate information in these situations

- Must be able to manage stress depending on deadlines
- Must be able to multitask and stay organized while performing job duties
- Must be able to receive information and directions
- Must be able to quickly communicate solutions if problems occur
