Lobby Ambassador

Are you ready to make a real difference in people's lives? Join the Harris Center for Mental Health and IDD as a Lobby Ambassador . The Lobby Ambassador initiates the overall first impression of our guest’s arrival experience in the clinic; provide friendly customer service while directing guests entering the building to the reception desk; encourage completion of Satisfaction Surveys; and reports suspicious behaviors to security/clinic leadership.

Your Role in Action

• Manages curbside RX pick-ups/deliveries.
• Administrative duties (as needed by clinic leadership) – folding and distributing brochures; preparing mail outs; sorting/distributing office supplies; and/or assisting in maintaining Daily No-Show log.
• Monitor/Observe client activity in clinic lobbies.
• Direct all persons entering the clinic to the reception desk for check-in.
• Provide friendly customer service with a smile and warm greeting.
• Observe body language and engage elevated behaviors with friendly greeting.
• Report suspicious or aggressive behaviors to clinic leadership – security, Office Supervisor, CTL(s), and/or Practice Manager.
• Maintain lobby’s appearance.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

What qualifications you will need:

Education :

• High School Diploma or General Education diploma

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

• Ability to stand/walk for several hours at a time.
• Ability to work effectively independently with limited supervision.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Ability to maintain absolute confidentiality of all work-related matters
• Ability to identify and offer solutions to resolve problems.
• Possess strong verbal and written communication skills, and interact effectively at all levels within the organization, and with consumers and the public.
