In this role, you’ll thrive as you support the design and development of Life Safety and Security Systems for some of the most technically advanced facilities in the world.

This position will provide Lead opportunities for the delivery of complex packages in coordination with engineers and design leads that form the core of our Life Safety Systems delivery team. You will interface directly with client counterparts in designing their facilities. Utilizing AutoCAD and Revit MEP, our teams create 3D models in coordination with architects and engineers. From those 3D BIM models, you’ll design fire alarm, smoke and leak detection, security and intrusion detection systems, toxic gas monitoring systems and more. Using the various applicable Life Safety & Fire codes as well as industry standards you will provide calculations; equipment size and quantities; equipment and construction specifications; network diagrams and various construction deliverables in both 2D and 3D platforms for a constructible design.

Here's what you'll need

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical engineering, Chemical, Mechanical or Biomedical Engineering from an ABET accredited program which provides the ability to attain PE licensure
• Visa Sponsorship is not available for this role

Ideally, you’ll also have:  

• Actively pursuing The Fundamentals of Engineering exam to get your (EIT)
• Minimum of 6 months to 1 year Revit or AutoCAD design experience
• Working knowledge of 3D BIM software (Revit)
• Design experience in Semiconductor Facilities, Industrial Chemical Environments or cleanroom spaces
• Knowledge of IFC, IBC, NFPA 101 Life Safety Code, and NFPA 72 Fire Alarm and Signaling Code
• Knowledge & application of NFPA 70 (NEC) and electrical design requirements
• Knowledge & application of NFPA 400 Hazardous Materials Code
• Knowledge of Fire Alarm systems and manufacturer’s equipment including EST, Honeywell Notifier
• Design experience with Fire Alarm, VESDA systems, Security, CCTV, HPM, and Leak Detection
• Knowledge of design and construction specifications

The base salary range for this position is $62,500.00 to $94,600.00; though will be paid hourly based on hours worked. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
