The Project Manager oversees all contracted Sterile Processing Services (SPS) operations and ensures full compliance with the Statement of Work (SOW). This role serves as the primary point of contact for the Contracting Officer Representative (COR). All services are performed on-site in a 24/7 operational environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Contract & Operations Management

• Serve as the single point of contact for the COR.
• Manage daily SPS operations and ensure all contract requirements are met.
• Supervise Medical Supply Technicians (SPS) and ensure staff sign-in/out compliance.
• Plan schedules, coordinate training, maintain records, and ensure quality control.
• Conduct quality inspections across all shifts.
• Submit detailed monthly status reports (staffing, training, incidents, performance metrics).
• Ensure an alternate qualified Project Manager is available when absent.

Equipment & Technical Oversight

• Oversee inspection, maintenance, setup, and troubleshooting of video and surgical equipment.
• Provide rapid-response technical support during procedures to minimize delays.
• Ensure proper handling, transport, reprocessing, preventive maintenance, and minor repair of instruments and endoscopic equipment.
• Support minimally invasive surgical (MIS) services across designated departments.
• Provide 24/7 availability, including on-call support; respond to COR within 30 minutes for emergencies.

Qualifications:

• Minimum three (3) years of supervisory experience.
• Extensive experience as a Medical Supply Technician (Sterile Processing Services).
• Strong knowledge of sterile processing standards, equipment maintenance, and surgical instrumentation.
• Demonstrated leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
• Ability to manage workforce performance and maintain operational efficiency.

• Must be available on-site and by phone 24/7; cell phone contact provided to COR within 24 hours of assignment.
