Federal Business Development Specialist
- Conduct comprehensive research to pinpoint potential federal agencies and healthcare facilities that would benefit from our medical devices.
- Stay current with federal contracting regulations and opportunities, with a specific emphasis on those pertinent to medical equipment.
- Collaborate with internal teams to align product offerings with the evolving needs of the federal market.
- Manage and update critical business information, including NAICS and PSC codes, service keywords, and registration on platforms such as SAM.gov.
- Initiate and foster relationships with key decision-makers in targeted federal agencies.
- Schedule and conduct Capabilities Briefings, presenting our products and their benefits tailored to federal healthcare needs.
- Lead the response to federal RFPs, RFQs, and IFBs, coordinating with internal teams to prepare compelling proposals.
- Develop and maintain a portfolio of federal marketing assets, including Capabilities Statements and customized presentations.
- Monitor and report on the progress of federal contracting efforts, evaluating strategies and adjusting tactics as necessary.
- Ensure compliance with all federal contracting guidelines and requirements throughout the business development process.
- Strong understanding of federal procurement processes and regulations.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to strategize, plan, and execute business development initiatives.
- Familiarity with federal contracting platforms and registration processes.

- Bachelors degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
- Proven experience in federal business development, preferably in the medical device or healthcare sector.
- Office and or hospital work environment.
- Ability to stand or sit for long periods of time.
- Ability to lift up to 10 pounds.
- Traveling to attend conferences and tradeshows
- Occasional exposure to bloodborne and airborne pathogens or infectious materials along with occasional exposure to cadaveric specimens.
