The role primarily focuses on drafting, reviewing, and negotiating a wide array of commercial and procurement contracts. This includes master services agreements, license agreements, and business process outsourcing agreements, among others. Legal Counsel will also be responsible for advising on complex contractual negotiations and issues such as intellectual property protections, cybersecurity, data privacy, artificial intelligence, and regulatory compliance within the financial services sector. Additionally, the role entails supporting various business lines with non-disclosure agreements, and assisting in the risk review and due diligence of third-party suppliers to keep abreast with the latest regulatory developments.The position further involves providing support to the U.S.
businesses of the client through the drafting and structuring of intragroup agreements with its affiliates. This includes performing necessary legal research and contributing to the continuous improvement of the client's legal templates, sample clause libraries, negotiation guidelines, and commercial playbooks.
