Education Finance Specialist - Financial Aid Officer

### What You'll Do:
- Provide personalized financial aid counseling to students and families, helping them navigate eligibility, application procedures, aid programs, and financial planning.
- Determine financial aid packages based on available funds, student need, and program requirements.
- Review and compare financial aid applications, considering factors like budgets, family income, and eligibility requirements.
- Conduct student interviews to collect necessary information and assess eligibility for aid.
- Guide students through the FAFSA process, ensuring all required documentation is accurately completed.
- Maintain confidentiality and compliance with financial aid regulations, including the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA).
- Deliver exceptional service and support to students, ensuring a positive financial aid experience.

### What We're Looking For:
- Education & Experience: Bachelor's degree (B.A.) or equivalent experience in financial aid, student services, or a related field. One to two years of relevant experience preferred.
- Skills: Strong analytical, problem-solving, and customer service skills with the ability to reconcile records and make mathematical calculations.
- Technical: Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel.
