Project Controls Analyst
You will be fully integrated as part of the Project Controls team playing a critical role at the Tesla Megafactory 3 Megaproject based in Brookshire, Texas. You will work collaboratively to develop, status and maintain P6 schedules and build intuitive management reports while working cross-functionally with various stakeholders. In addition to scheduling, successful candidate will periodically support the cost engineering team with cost forecasting, change management and cost reporting. Project Controls Team has multiple locations possible: Austin, TX; Sparks, NV; San Francisco, CA; Brookshire, TX; Robstown, TX What You'll Do Develop fully integrated Engineering, Procurement, Construction, Commissioning logically tied, and resource loaded schedulesMonitor, analyze and report the critical path and overall project performanceAnalyze and report on scheduling and project data with an innovative approach leading to actionable outcomesCreate potential “what-if” scenario schedules showing viable alternative paths to achieve project objectives, accelerate or reduce schedule and cost risksEnsure scheduling tools are progressed and updated weekly with all stakeholders across multiple programs, while providing accurate and meaningful outputsUse clear and effective communication methods to escalate risks and communicate successesAssist with the creation of 3-week-look-ahead schedules for use by field teamsTrain and mentor colleagues on scheduling procedures and best practices to ensure consistent reportingCost Engineering experience What You'll Bring Degree in Engineering or equivalent experience3+ years of experience on large commercial, industrial, manufacturing, mining, government, and/or oil & gas construction projectsDirect scheduling experience with proficiency in Primavera P6 are required for this roleHighly proficient with Microsoft Excel Experience in Critical Path Methodology, Earned Value Management with a demonstrated history of successful schedule reporting, compression, and mitigation effortsAbility to work within a high-performance team with sometimes tight deadlines Benefits
