Summary:
Maroon Pickett Fence LLC, dba Blue Ribbon Property Management manages over 700 doors across the Bryan/College Station and surrounding area. If you can manage a busy department and work as a team player then we are looking for YOU! We have an immediate opening for the right person to lead our maintenance team and coordinate daily work flow.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Plans, organizes, staffs, directs and controls the day-to-day operations of the maintenance department.
- Evaluate maintenance requests, set priorities and process work assignments.
- Communicate directly with service providers, vendors, and maintenance contractors to schedule repairs, servicing, preventive maintenance, and other projects required to keep the owners assets running smoothly.
- Hires contractors or subcontractors to perform maintenance work to specialized or extensive to be performed by the maintenance staff.
- Establishes and maintains a reliable network of outside vendors and suppliers to ensure cost-effective and timely support of the maintenance function.
- Scheduling and managing work orders.
- Assign tasks to workers, coordinate them, and ensure completion of work.
- Support technicians and take care of maintenance daily logs.
- Provide a wide variety of administrative assistance to managers, especially in the areas of managing work orders and tenant communications.
- Oversee inventory management.
- Monitor usage of tools/equipment and ensure they are readily available.
- Communicate effectively with anyone
- Manage the work order process effectively
- Handle Emergencies
- General understanding how a maintenance strategy will impact maintenance operations and the organization.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Preferred Real Estate License but not required.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
- Supervises maintenance staff
- Works with 3rd party to assist in coordinating work flow.
Required Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or G.E.D. required - Electrical or HVAC Certification a plus.
- Five (3) years of maintenance experience
- Excellent analytical and reasoning skills, plus excellent organization skills required.
- Excellent Time Management skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Pay according to experience.
This is an in office position with the hours: 8:30am - 5:30pm located in College Station, TX.Recommended Jobs
