Inside Sales Rep
Position: Sales Assistant
Location: Houston, TX
Employment Type: Contract (3+ months)
Schedule: M-F 9-5pm
Pay: $28. - $33 / Hour
Benefits: This position is eligible for medical, dental, vision, and 401(k).
Description:
- Maintain and update sales pipeline data, opportunities, and forecasts.
- Enter and manage customer quotes, sales orders, revisions, and related documentation.
- Support forecasting efforts by tracking opportunity stages, close dates, and revenue projections.
- Process customer orders and coordinate with Operations and Logistics on equipment availability and delivery timelines.
- Assist with invoice review, billing accuracy, freight coordination, and shipment documentation.
- Monitor order status and proactively communicate updates to customers and internal stakeholders.
- Support month-end and quarter-end sales reporting and reconciliation.
- Maintain accurate customer records, pricing data, and contract documentation.
- Provide administrative and operational support to outside sales representatives.
Qualifications
- At least 1 year+ of inside sales, sales support, or order management experience.
- Experience working in SAP preferred.
- Salesforce required.
- MS Office experience.
