Warehouse Admin

SUMMARY: Responsible for directly supporting the warehouse operations and keeping the flow of receiving and shipping. This is achieved by accurately receiving purchase orders, processing return merchandise authorizations, processing shipment confirmations, and other assorted tasks. The position requires a positive and courteous attitude and teamwork at all times.

POSITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Prepare and sort sales orders for the truck routes.
• Assign order pickers and process shipment confirmations of sales orders.
• Receive purchase orders and match vendor paperwork.
• Research discrepancies.
• Assist with will-call customers and sales rep deliveries.
• Coordinate between office and drivers on delivery questions/updates.
• Obtain quotes and schedule shipments with carriers.
• Schedule dock appointments with customers.
• Accurately update details in our software system.
• Process returns merchandise authorization.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE

• High School Education or GED equivalent.
• Minimum of 2 years of relevant work experience.
• Warehouse experience preferred but not required.

LANGUAGE SKILLS

• Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from internal and external customers whose first language is English.
