Legal Support Specialist
Job Summary
We are seeking a Legal Support Specialist for an onsite opportunity in Dallas, TX supporting a busy, professional legal office environment. This role is ideal for a confident, detail-oriented office services professional who enjoys balancing print production, mailroom operations, document support, shipping and receiving, and customer-facing service throughout the day. The Legal Support Specialist will work closely with attorneys, paralegals, and legal staff in a fast-paced setting where accuracy, confidentiality, and responsiveness are essential. This is a strong opportunity for someone who values a supportive team environment, clear daily responsibilities, hands-on training, and the ability to build long-term experience in legal office operations. Key Responsibilities - Operate high-volume copier and print production equipment, including copying, scanning, binding, finishing, OCR processing, file conversion, and document formatting.- Process incoming and outgoing mail, packages, shipping requests, receiving documentation, postage, packing slips, and internal mail distribution.
- Provide professional customer service to attorneys, paralegals, executives, and legal staff while managing multiple service requests and job status updates.
- Support electronic document handling, FTP transfers, file organization, Table of Contents maintenance, archiving, purging, and records management.
- Maintain production logs, meter readings, billing documentation, inventory tracking, stocked service areas, and clean, organized workspaces.
- Assist with basic equipment troubleshooting, service call coordination, meeting room setups, light facilities support, and confidentiality compliance. Compensation and Benefits - Pay Rate: $22.00 to $23.00 per hour.
- Employment Type: Temp-to-Hire, Temporary W2 assignment expected to last 3+ months.
- Schedule: Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM.

Required Qualifications and Skills
- Manage print production, scanning, copying, binding, finishing, and document formatting requests.- Support mailroom operations, shipping and receiving, postage processing, package handling, and internal delivery.
- Provide onsite customer service and office support to attorneys, paralegals, and legal staff.
- Maintain document organization, service area readiness, equipment support, and legal document confidentiality. - High School Diploma or GED required.
- 1 to 2 years of experience in office services, print production, mailroom operations, or a similar administrative support environment required.
- Strong communication, customer service, time management, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently, prioritize multiple requests, and make sound decisions in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic technical skills related to file conversion, scanning, electronic document handling, and office equipment troubleshooting.
- Professional demeanor with the ability to interact effectively with legal professionals, executives, and internal customers.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to confidentiality when handling sensitive legal documents. Preferred Qualifications - Experience working in a legal office, law firm, corporate legal department, or professional services environment.
- 3 to 5 years of related office services, legal support, print production, or mailroom experience.
- Familiarity with high-volume copier and print production equipment.
- Knowledge of shipping and receiving procedures, postage meters, and package tracking systems.
- Experience with document management systems, workflow tools, OCR processing, FTP transfers, and electronic file organization.
- Basic facilities support experience, including supply inventory, meeting room setup, and service call coordination.
