Key Responsibilities:

• Originate long-term mortgage loans, including lot, construction, and home equity loans.
• Conduct initial pre-qualification interviews with potential clients.
• Guide clients through the loan application process, ensuring all necessary documentation is complete and accurate.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of mortgage lending products, policies, and regulations.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, real estate agents, and other stakeholders.
• Provide exceptional customer service and support throughout the loan process.

Qualifications:

• One to five years of related mortgage lending origination experience with a mortgage lender, bank, or credit union.
• Real estate background is preferred but not required.
• A two-year college degree or completion of a specialized course of study at a business or trade school, or completion of specialized and extensive in-house training or apprenticeship program.
• Strong understanding of mortgage loan products and processes.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
