Sales Development Representative - B2B SaaS
The Role:
As a Sales Development Representative, you will play a crucial role in driving our sales efforts in the US market by identifying and qualifying opportunities within the construction industry. Your ability to engage with a diverse range of construction professionals, from site teams to decision-makers, and handle challenging conversations with confidence and clarity will set you apart.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct in-depth research, using databases, online tools, and industry resources, to identify high-potential construction projects and companies that align with our offerings.
- Qualify, and schedule meetings for our Account Executive by understanding the unique needs of each prospect.
- Engage with professionals in the construction industry in a respectful yet assertive manner, adapting to their direct communication style.
- Handle challenging conversations with confidence, ensuring clear and effective communication.
- Provide feedback and insights to help refine messaging and outreach efforts.
- Stay up to date with industry trends to spot niche opportunities.
Ideal Profile:
- You possess a Bachelor’s Degree and are familiar with the construction industry. A background in Civil Engineering, Project Management, or Construction Technology is a plus.
- Experience selling to or working with construction companies would be a plus.
- You are passionate about building your career in Sales and ideally have a proven track record of achieving and exceeding targets in this role.
- You have strong research skills and an ability to dig deep into databases and online tools to uncover opportunities.
- You are proficient in CRM systems and sales tools
- You can handle direct and sometimes challenging conversations with professionalism.
- You possess excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and have the ability to build rapport quickly.
