Job Summary
We are seeking a Manufacturing Technician to support the assembly, testing, troubleshooting, and repair of electronic products in a manufacturing environment. This position is responsible for performing technical duties involving electronic systems, conducting functional testing, diagnosing product and process issues, and ensuring products meet established quality standards. The ideal candidate has a solid understanding of electronics, experience using electronic test equipment, and the ability to follow detailed technical procedures.
Job Description
- Perform technical duties related to electronic manufacturing, testing, and production.
- Conduct product testing, measurements, and process verification using established procedures.
- Troubleshoot and repair product, process, and program defects to ensure quality and functionality.
- Read and interpret schematics, technical drawings, wiring diagrams, and work instructions.
- Use job packets, routings, work orders, wire lists, quality travelers, and bills of material to complete assigned tasks.
- Perform wire preparation, stripping, crimping, harness termination, and repair as required.
- Operate and maintain production tools, test equipment, and manufacturing equipment.
- Utilize electronic test equipment, including: Low- and high-voltage power supplies (up to 1000V), Oscilloscopes, Digital multimeters, Frequency generators, Variable resistive loads
- Assist with automated machine operation and support basic programming or software script execution.
- Maintain accurate production records using SAP and other manufacturing systems.
- Follow written technical procedures, quality standards, and safety requirements.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance manufacturing processes and product quality.
Skills Required
- Basic understanding of electronics theory.
- Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and technical drawings.
- Basic troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Experience using electronic test equipment, including oscilloscopes, digital multimeters, power supplies, frequency generators, and variable resistive loads.
- Ability to follow detailed written technical procedures.
- Basic understanding of software scripts and their execution.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel.
- Experience using SAP.
- Strong computer skills and proficiency with Windows operating systems, including Windows 11, Windows 10, Windows XP, and Windows 2000.
Education
- Re quired: Associate degree in Electronics or a minimum of two (2) years of relevant electronics manufacturing experience.
Additional requirements
- Shift: 2pm - 10pm
Pay rate
- $24.80 per hour (Compensation is offered based on experience, skills, and market factors)
