Location : Austin, TX
Overall Purpose: Responsible for supporting strategic communications and stakeholder engagement to advance the organization's public policy objectives.
Key Roles and Responsibilities: Typical tasks may include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Policy Analysis and Legislative Advocacy: Analyzing legislation and regulatory issues. Advocating for the company's regulatory agenda during public hearings and meetings with state legislators and staff.
- Stakeholder and Community Engagement: Building and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders, including government officials, community groups, and third-party coalitions. Representing the company on local boards and commissions and acting as the face of the corporation in served communities.
- Event Coordination and Community Relations: Organizing and managing community events to bridge relationships between the community and elected officials. Promoting the company's initiatives and addressing constituent concerns.
- Other duties as assigned: Supporting processes related to Political Action Committee (PAC) activity, internal collaboration, strategy development, leading lobbying activities, negotiations, addressing constituent concerns, and/or grant management.

Education/Experience : Bachelor's degree (BS/BA) desired. 5+ years of related experience. Certification is required in some areas.
