We’re looking for two outstanding bartenders who thrive in a fast-paced environment, love connecting with people, and take pride in delivering unforgettable service.

What You'll Do

As a bartender at La Viva Tex Mex, you will:

• Prepare craft cocktails, margaritas, beer, wine, and specialty beverages with accuracy and speed
• Engage guests at the bar and throughout the restaurant with genuine hospitality
• Create an energetic, welcoming bar atmosphere
• Maintain full knowledge of our drink menu, tequila/mezcal selection, and featured cocktails
• Support servers by preparing bar drinks quickly and accurately
• Maintain a clean, organized, and stocked bar at all times
• Monitor guest consumption and follow responsible alcohol service guidelines
• Handle cash and POS transactions accurately
• Assist with opening and closing bar duties
• Work as a team with servers, kitchen staff, and management to deliver an outstanding guest experience

• Able to work efficiently in a high-energy environment
• Passionate about cocktails, tequila, and hospitality
• Organized and detail-oriented
• A team player who supports the entire restaurant
• Professional and dependable

Qualifications

• 1+ year bartending experience preferred
• Knowledge of classic cocktails and margaritas
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced restaurant
• Strong communication and guest service skills
• TABC certification required (or ability to obtain)
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs
