Position Title: Entry-Level Quality Control (QC) Inspector.
Location: Houston, TX.
Schedule: Monday - Friday, 7:00 a.m. - 3:30 p.m.
Pay Rate: $17 - $18 per hour.
Assignment Type: Temporary (with potential to become temp-to-perm, though not guaranteed).

Position Summary:

The Entry-Level QC Inspector is responsible for inspecting rubber pipes and components to ensure that all products meet established quality standards. The role is highly detail-oriented, requiring precision, accuracy, and consistency. Key Responsibilities:

• Perform inspections of rubber pipes, fittings, and related parts at various stages of production.
• Use measuring tools (such as calipers, tape measures, and gauges) to verify dimensions and tolerances.
• Identify and document product defects or deviations from specifications.
• Complete and maintain accurate inspection reports and quality documentation.
• Communicate findings and quality issues to supervisors and production teams.
• Follow established quality assurance protocols, company policies, and safety procedures.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives by providing feedback on quality trends.

Qualifications & Skills:

• High school diploma or equivalent (GED).
• Entry-level - no prior QC experience required; training will be provided.
• Ability to understand and apply basic measurement techniques.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to identify small defects or inconsistencies.
• Good communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks.
• Team player with a positive attitude and willingness to learn.
• Basic math skills for measuring and documenting results.

Working Conditions:

• Manufacturing environment with exposure to rubber materials, machinery, and occasional noise.
• Standing, bending, lifting, and moving parts throughout the shift.
• Use of personal protective equipment (PPE) may be required.
