Overview:
We are seeking a strategic and results-driven Contract & Procurement Manager to join a dynamic Design and Construction team. The ideal candidate will lead sourcing, vendor management, and contract negotiation for commercial construction projects, including new builds, remodels, and infrastructure initiatives. This role requires a strong focus on cost efficiency, operational excellence, and collaboration across project teams.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute strategic procurement plans aligned with project goals.
• Identify, evaluate, and manage suppliers, contractors, and equipment vendors.
• Negotiate contracts and pricing to ensure competitive rates and high-quality delivery.
• Oversee sourcing of materials, equipment, and services to meet project timelines.
• Collaborate with project teams to ensure specifications and quality standards are met.
• Manage budgets and identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality.
• Conduct market research to stay updated on trends, emerging suppliers, and construction innovations.
• Lead, mentor, and develop junior procurement team members.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Procurement, Supply Chain, Business, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in construction sourcing or procurement, including new builds and remodels.
• Strong negotiation, contract management, and communication skills.
• Deep understanding of construction timelines, materials, and procurement best practices.
• Professional certifications such as CPSM or PMP preferred.
