218180 - Structural Analysis Engineer
Chipton-Ross is seeking multiple Structural Analysis Engineers for a contract opportunity in Fort Worth, TX.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS (REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE):
- 10 + Years of Airframe primary structure layout and sizing Experience
- 10+ years of Hands on/Excel based analysis of aerospace structures experience
- 5+ Years of recent Catia V5 experience
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
Responsible for performing stress analysis on new designs of primary and secondary airframe structure, as well as updating existing analyses to incorporate design changes. Experience with MRB stress analysis of metallic and composite structure. Required experience with FEA software including NASTRAN and PATRAN. Experience using SLIM as a pre-processor and TMP Vision for post-processing desired. Experience with CATIA V5/3DX highly desired. Familiarity with UNIX/LINUX operating systems desired. Candidate must be capable of interpreting detail, assembly, and installation type drawings and models.PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS (DESIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE:
- Familiarity with Slim, Vision, and IDAT and 3DX a plus.
REQUIRED EDUCATION:
- Accredited Bachelor's Degree.
WORK HOURS:
- Full-Time-4/10
ADDITIONAL:
- Candidate must hold an active secret clearance.
