Affiliate Marketing Manager
Sage’s North American B2B affiliate marketing program is ready to be rebuilt and grown into a stronger source of qualified opportunities, pipeline and revenue. We are hiring a hands-on B2B Affiliate Marketing Manager to own the program across the US and Canada and establish the strategy, partnerships and measurement needed to move the channel forward.
This is an individual contributor position within the Performance Marketing team responsible for developing strategic affiliate partnerships, driving high-quality demand, qualified pipeline, and revenue growth across Sage's product portfolio. You will have meaningful autonomy to establish the affiliate playbook, recruit and grow partners, and determine where Sage should invest. An existing agency and our Performance Marketing team will support the program, while you retain internal ownership of the strategy and results. Minimum Qualifications • At least 5 years of experience in affiliate marketing, performance partnerships, partner growth or performance marketing with direct responsibility for an affiliate program. • Proven experience managing and growing affiliate or partner programs within a B2B business. • Experience with affiliate management platforms such as Impact Radius or similar platforms. • Strong understanding of affiliate tracking, attribution, CRM systems, marketing automation platforms, and digital analytics. • Demonstrated ability to analyze performance data and optimize programs to improve lead quality, pipeline, revenue, and ROI. • Experience managing external partners, negotiating contracts, and developing strategic business relationships. • Excellent project management, organizational, communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills. • Understanding of B2B buyer journeys, demand generation, lead nurturing, and conversion optimization. • Experience managing affiliate budgets, forecasting channel performance, and making investment recommendations. Location Requirement: Hybrid - 3 days per week from either our Austin (405 Colorado St.) or our Atlanta (Ponce City Market) office. Who is Sage & Why Join? Sage Copilot is a prime example. • Own and scale Sage’s B2B affiliate marketing program across the US and Canada, with the autonomy to build the channel end-to-end and shape how affiliate contributes to growth. • Step into a role with clear success metrics tied to business outcomes, including qualified pipeline, sales opportunities, revenue contribution, and marketing efficiency. • Build strategic affiliate, publisher, and platform partnerships with support from an existing agency, the Performance Marketing and cross-functional team across Marketing, Sales, MarTech, and Web. • Bring visibility to a growing channel, with the opportunity to become Sage’s affiliate subject matter expert and share North America learnings with teams in the UK and Europe. • Grow your career within a stable, global SaaS company guided by our mantra “we do the right thing” and values: Human, Bold, Trust, and Simplify, all employees are benefited with 40 paid volunteer hours per year to give back to our local communitiesKey Responsibilities • Own and manage Sage's B2B affiliate marketing program across the US and Canada. • Develop the affiliate channel strategy by identifying growth opportunities, evaluating new partnership models, and recommending investments that increase pipeline, revenue, and marketing efficiency. • Identify, recruit, onboard, and grow a strategic network of affiliate partners, publishers, and affiliate platforms to expand reach and drive high-quality leads, qualified pipeline, and SQOs. • Build and maintain strategic partner relationships by developing joint growth plans, negotiating commission structures and incentive programs, and conducting regular business reviews. • Develop and execute affiliate growth strategies and campaigns that improve lead quality, conversion rates, pipeline contribution, and overall channel performance. • Monitor, analyze, track, and optimize affiliate performance using data-driven insights to maximize ROI, pipeline contribution, and marketing efficiency. • Collaborate with Digital Marketing, Regional Program Marketing, Sales, Product Marketing, Marketing Operations, Marketing Technology (MarTech), and Web Optimization teams to align affiliate initiatives with broader marketing campaigns and business priorities. • Ensure accurate campaign tracking, attribution, lead routing, reporting, and compliance across all affiliate activities. • Analyze channel performance and present actionable insights, recommendations, and business results to stakeholders. • Evaluate new affiliate networks, publishers, technologies, and partnership opportunities to diversify acquisition channels and support future growth. • Manage day-to-day affiliate communications, partner enablement, campaign execution, budgets, forecasting, and performance reviews.
