Vehicle Accessory Installation & Delivery Specialist

Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Vehicle Accessory Installation & Delivery Specialistto support the efficient processing, inspection, and delivery of vehicles in alignment with customer and dealer expectations. This role involves safe vehicle operation, accessory installation, quality control, and adherence to all safety standards and company policies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure timely, consistent, and reliable attendance.
- Safely operate a variety of vehicle makes and models in all conditions.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment; follow all safety regulations and use required PPE.
- Meet productivity and quality standards.
- Follow company procedures, job instructions, and safety guidelines.
- Accurately install accessories on new vehicles and perform quality checks.
- Secure and verify correct parts and accessories.
- Handle and maintain shop tools and equipment responsibly.
- Conduct final inspections to ensure proper accessory installation and defect-free vehicles.
- Support team members with peer training as needed.
- Perform ramp driving duties and organize vehicle placement.
- Stock necessary materials and parts as needed.
- Ensure compliance with Audit Criteria when parking vehicles in designated areas.
- Protect customer and consumer data in line with privacy policies.
- Complete required documentation and reports during the final inspection process.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Mechanical aptitude with the ability to use hand tools.
- Strong understanding of safety procedures and correct PPE usage.
- Ability to read and interpret Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS).
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Familiarity with productivity and quality performance metrics.
- Willingness to cross-train in other areas.
- Professional driving skills and ability to meet TMS Audit Criteria.
- Must pass a pre-employment drug screening.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and move up to 100 lbs.
- Full range of motion, including stooping, kneeling, squatting, reaching, and crawling.
- Ability to climb stairs, balance, crouch, and perform physical tasks as needed.
- Specific vision abilities required: close and distance vision, color perception, peripheral vision, depth perception, and focus adjustment.
Licenses & Certifications:
- Valid driver’s license required.
