Our ideal candidate will excel at unifying disparate data sources into a cohesive lakehouse environment while partnering cross-functionally to deliver innovative, AI-augmented, insight-driven solutions.

Instead of the typical job description, here's a breakdown of tasks and qualities we're looking for in our potential team member:

Primary Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain scalable BI solutions that deliver actionable insights across the organization.

  • Lead migration to and optimization of a centralized data lakehouse architecture.

  • Architect and implement AWS-based data pipelines and modern reporting solutions.

  • Develop advanced dashboards and visualizations using Power BI and AWS QuickSight, integrating AI capabilities to enhance analytics.

  • Collaborate with business leaders to translate requirements into technical solutions and align reporting with strategic goals.

  • Establish best practices for data governance, quality, security, and DevOps.

Skills and Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in BI development and data analytics.

  • Strong expertise in AWS data services (Glue, Redshift, Athena, QuickSight, DynamoDB) and lakehouse architectures.

  • Proficiency in Power BI, Dataverse, SQL, and relational/NoSQL databases.

  • Experience with ETL processes, data modeling, and integrating AI/ML into BI solutions.

  • Ability to translate business needs into technical specifications with strong communication skills.

  • Experience with Python, R, real-time/streaming analytics, and self-service BI solutions.

  • Familiarity with Git-based source control, DevOps practices, and data governance frameworks.

Where We’re Looking For It

  • Houston, Texas, United States

  • On-site

Compensation Package (Salary Transparency for US Based Employees)

  • Salary Range: $160,000 - $210,000+

    • Salary is negotiable and the range can be increased based on qualifications, certifications and experience

Other Information

  • On-site presence required; remote work available at management’s discretion based on business needs.

  • Ability to lift up to 40 lbs. and occasional travel to remote job sites as needed.

The work hours will be approximately 9:00 am to 5:00 pm EST, depending on workload, with the occasional late night when a tight deadline calls for it. We work for security-conscious clients, thus background checks will be required. Salary dependent upon experience.
