Facilities Janitor - 3rd Shift
Shift / Hours: 3rd shift – Sunday through Thursday 11 pm to 7:30 am
Primary Duties and Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Maintains overall appearance of all common areas of the plant.
- Follows a routine cleaning schedule that periodically addresses non-routine cleaning items.
- Empties and disposes of trash containers from offices, restrooms, and other common areas.
- Painting activities including removing old finishes by repairing, sanding, and patching. Uses variety of hand tools, such as brushers, paint rollers, and sponges
- Assists in all aspects of facilities maintenance including periodic janitorial, sanitizing, and disinfecting activities.
- Performs any other duties as required by his lead or supervisor.
- Train helpers when required.
Education and Experience Profile
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
Required Skills
- Highly motivated self-starter that can function for long periods with little or no supervision.
- Due to heavy customer contact, must have outgoing personality that can nurture relationships with everyone.
- Deliver on time and on target commitments for the team.
Work Environment:
Working conditions are normal for an office environment and non-climate controlled manufacturing facility and includes outside work year round.
