Design Associate

RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES

· Develop and execute creative concepts and designs for various media, including printed materials, presentations, graphics, social media assets, email campaigns, website content, and other related materials.

· Develop motion graphics or simple animations to enhance visual storytelling across platforms.

· Act as a brand guardian by upholding and evolving design standards, ensuring all creative outputs align with the CityVet and Arista Advanced Pet Care brand identities.

· Regularly update brand assets to reflect company growth, values, and strategic initiatives.

· Manage the majority of design work for new clinic/hospital openings.

· Produce high-quality multimedia assets optimized for a variety of platforms, including social media, websites, paid ads, and email marketing.

· Collaborate with the digital marketing team to develop content that supports SEO and user engagement goals.

· Utilize data insights to iterate on digital designs and improve user experience.

· Take ownership of projects from concept through to final production and delivery.

· Work closely with internal teams and external vendors to meet deadlines and ensure the highest production quality across digital and print materials.

· Lead assigned projects by defining requirements, managing timelines, and delivering creative assets on schedule.

· Establish modern design concepts, layouts, and visuals that elevate brand storytelling and customer engagement.

· Manage photo, video, and multimedia asset libraries, ensuring consistency and accessibility across teams.

REQUIREMENTS & QUALIFICATIONS

· Degree in Design, Fine Arts, or a related field.

· 2-4 years of experience in Graphic Design or Multimedia Design.

· Experience with marketing production, corporate identity, advertising, and multimedia design.

· Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite, especially InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop.

· Experience in video-editing software, such as Premiere Pro, After Effects, and/or CapCut is a plus.

· Strong visual communication and storytelling skills with a demonstrated understanding of design principles, including layout, typography, color theory, and composition.

· Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering polished, brand-aligned work.

· Ability to manage multiple projects from concept to delivery with minimal supervision.

· Excellent communication and collaboration skills when working with clients, cross-functional teams, and external partners.

· A strong portfolio showcasing a range of creative work, including branding, digital, print, and video projects. Please include a link to your portfolio when applying.
